Love the energy efficiency and functionality of the home and the community
I researched builders with no intention to buy right away but rather in the distant future. After seeing the quality and specifically the energy efficiency of Meritage homes we decided to buy right away. The sales and construction team were kind and professional and really made me feel a part of the community. The overall design of the home makes sense for our lifestyle and we love our new house!
Good value for the price point. Finishes were up to date. Energy efficiency and good quality of electrical systems (HVAC/water heater). Appreciated the weekly builder/sales rep updates. Builder, Joe Lewis, was extremely responsive to questions and corrected any issues promptly, even took extra time explaining how to utilize smart-home features. We appreciated Meritage's responsiveness to incorporate additional landscaping for privacy. It has much improved the look of community and privacy for individual home owners.
Everyone that we talked to seemed genuinely interested in making sure that we were happy and getting the home that we wanted.

The quality of the construction, and that all appliances were included.
I thought that everyone from the sales manager to the builder were very personable, extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately my ratings are based on my new home and the ability to get items corrected. They give you the walk through but that first week we were in the home was when we could see all of the issues.
I cannot stress this enough, Luis Aguilar was an absolute pleasure to work with. He helped us with multiple needs after the close of our home. Luis was always highly professional and was very responsive to communications. I cannot say enough good things about Luis.
Working with the Construction Manager has been a great experience. He has addressed all of our issues and is present in the area. Small questions can be asked of him. Much better than construction crew with different builder
