FRUSTATING w/ MAC Very rare to write a review, but felt compelled to inform others the constant nuisance this printer has caused me. It will print one moment and then all of a sudden the printer can't be found or is offline? Unfortunately this isn't the first time and is extremely time consuming to identify what the problem is then navigating through their troubleshooting guide. Called their customer support for assistance and yes, I'm not great with computers. Regardless, no need for condescending tone.
It’s ok We bought this printer for business use and it was good initially but from the start the air print was a hassle and very frustrating no device or app can find the air printer. Every time we want to print we have to spend about 30 mins restarting sending to printer detecting and retrying. While everything else is good in this printer the air print feature which is a big deal for us was very frustrating. Will be returning and getting a different printer.
I HATE this machine Constantly giving me trouble - paper jams, pulling in 5 pieces of paper at once, constantly needed to be shut off and turned back on to connect to the wireless signal. Overall, very poor quality.
DO NOT BY We have had to replace the two that we purchased multiple times. Not only are the products low quality, the customer service is quite poor.
Nice, but 5 stars if all features worked. Almost every multi-function printer out there can print and scan, the main reason that I purchased this was because of the very accessible envelope feeder in the rear tray. On my previous printer you needed to pull out the paper tray put each envelope in individually in a strategic position, close the tray and then print. I HATE this machine I've called and emailed BROTHER countless times. No matter what they tell me to do, it still grabs several pieces of paper when I make copies. I have wasted more time and more paper than I can count.
Slow printing This printer receives data slowly. The quality of the prints are very good but it takes forever to print.
Noisy and Poor Connectivity Replaced our HP with a Brother to save ink costs. Fast prints, but have difficulties printing from multiple devices (2 laptops, tablets, phones.) No problem with low end HP. Disappointed.
Poor support I've been using Brother printer and FAX machines for the past 15 years now and I am very pleased with your products until my old fax machine die. I brought this machine and it work well for about 9 months, then it started to give me problems to send and receive fax. I call for support and your tech support are generally from a foreign country and I can only understand 1/2 of what they talking about and they can only understand 1/2 of what I am asking, as a result I spent endless hours on the phone and accomplish... read more
