Prints smudged black Despite multiple cleanings, it still prints smudged black lines. This is not what I intended to pay for.
Printing issues I never had an issue with my Epson printer connecting to my phone or computer to print. I have tried several times and got it to work once, but not since then. I wish I had stuck with another Epson printer.
Quality Printouts, Great Ink Life, Terrible Drivers This printer does amazing things the 25% of the time it responds to your print requests. Unfortunately, the remainder of the time is spent rebooting the printer, rebooting your PC/phone, (un/re)installing drivers and Brother applications, and fighting Windows 10 to recognize the device even exists. false paper jam my printer had been a dream for over a year but recently it keeps saying there is a paper jam but I've gone through everything to clear it so many times but nope still saying paper jam and it makes me sad that I can't print anything and of course it decided to do this to me at the worst time possible.
After 1.5 years received a message that is not in the manuel? Tried to trouble shoot, but no luck. Definitely NOT a good value....Operated for 18 months with minor issues. Then it stopped. Appears not to have a solution short of Major repair... Since it is used for my work, I'll need to purchase another. It will NOT be a BROTHER
Slow with lots of errors! 0 STARS if possible! So slow!!! Continuous error messages trying to print documents from computer. Will continue to print just the first few lines of a document and doesn't stop until I can get in the setting to cancel all documents. Stop/Exit button doesn't stop printing. It just continues. So slow before the next one starts, I didn't realize it wasn't canceling the document. I walked away to come back to a lot of paper wasted. I am truly disappointed in this printer.
Limited Usefulness In Home Office I lost my old printer after 9 years of service. It was fast, allowed for different print qualities, easy to connect to, operated silently, and was cheap to operate. Sadly it is no longer made. After days of reviewing all the models and reviews, I chose the MFC-J805DW INKvestmentTank Color Inkjet All-in-One Printer by Brother from Amazon. Scam! The ink will run out in aprox 120 papers! Good luck! Returned it 3 weeks ago and no refund until now.
Good at first to lead to frustration Good for the first few prints but soon became extremely frustrating to remove black lines and smudges that appear on all prints.
