easy to set up and arrived safely and securely There are a lot of other printers out there for sure, but this one seemed to have the most bang for the buck with the included large ink tanks. A lot of capability too. My second Brother printer - the first one lasted for many years until the print head began getting spotty. I used aftermarket inks the entire time and that may have contributed to it's demise - depending on who you ask of course. Anyway, prints perfectly, easy to set up and arrived safely and securely.
This is the best inkjet printer I have owned This is the best inkjet printer I have owned. It replaced a Brother color laser MFC that was taking up too much space in the office. Printing is a little slower than the laser but the color quality is significantly better. Ink usage is very reasonable, and the included replacement inks should last somewhere between 1-2 years. Excellent, replaced two high-priced but clumsy printers An outstanding printer with ink that lasts a good long time. I replaced two $300 HP inkjet printers that were good but simply sucked down ink like there was no tomorrow, not to mention convoluted menus that had to be drilled down in for often-used specifics. This Brother MFC-J985DW has straight-forward control menus without contradictions and just prints very good photos and text, like a good printer should.

Love this all in one! Did my homework first, and am so happy that I did. Easy to set up, even for dummies. Great quality prints. Hope the ink lasts as long as advertised. Don't hesitate on this one!
Excellent printing but slow speed I really like the quality of this printer. Set-up to our router was easy. The deal with two years' worth of ink cartidges was excellent. All that keeps this from getting 5-stars is speed. The printer is much slower than average for an ink jet printer. This does help to prevent smudging and I've seen no scan lines on pictures. good injet printer very happy with this unit so far (two months now). The setup is very easy and no problems linking it wirelessly to the home network. Much easier than HP printers I have previously had. And the value with the extra ink seems hard to beat.
