Friendly atmosphere, amazing focus on the arts, encouraging and helpful! Teachers are excellent and helpful, all classes are highly advanced and prepare you perfectly for college.
Not all teachers are qualified for the job. The staff is really nice but at times can not be helpful. Other than that the school is in a nice area and the curriculum is easy to understand. The environment of the school is nice and they try their best to make it fun for the students.
Okay so i honestly love my school, I love the staff and my teachers, every one there is so nice this is my second and last year and I’m sad I’m leaving in a couple of months because I feel at home when I’m in that school. They have great opportunities for students in performing arts and they really see you by who you are, I’m in chorus and I love it , I love my teacher ( Ms.Rodriguez I love you) she’s such an inspiration to me and to all of her students. When I joined last year, I was coming from an awful school with the worst kids. Miami Arts Charter was a refreshing change of pace. With no uniforms and different arts you could audition for, this school was a great place to learn. I got straight A's for the first time while in middle school. This year, uniforms were put into effect again. While I can understand why they did this, I also think that MAC being an art school should mean that students should express themselves. It is very welcoming to anyone who has a passion for the arts. For example, visual art, chorus, dance, theatre and more. It has a diverse program for every art as well. The teachers and staff are extremely compassionate with each and every student and will be willing to help in any way possible.
I really enjoy this school. I love the environment and the number of people who all come to learn and pursue their passion.
I’ve been at this school for around 6 years, and if there is one thing I could say about MAC, it’s that there is a lot of artistic freedom and lots of opportunities for the different arts. Of course, the academics are always a priority as well.
Miami Arts Charter is an amazing school hat focuses not only on the importance of academics, but the importance of arts as well. The Earth without art is just Eh and MAC has helped me learn to focus on my studies whilst focusing on my passion of music.
I think the most positive experiences I had at MAC were with the friends I made there, and while the teachers are hit or miss, the good ones will always be there for you and really make MAC worth it. Though the smaller arts definitely need more funding and care.
