I met with Dr. Merz, primarily to get a cortisone injection in my knee for my arthritis. He was delightful to talk to and took my mind off the pain of the injection. And, he patiently answered all of my questions.
Great experience with total knee replacement
Total knee replacement on Dec. 1, 2020. 7 weeks later it is like it never happened. No pain, a little discomfort no more worrying about falling. All staff were very professional and supportive toward getting me back at my best. Getting surgery during covid was a little concerning. The Speciality hospital made sure myself and staff were kept safe and covid free. My PT experience was the best. PT staff worked with me to get my knee back to normal with alot of work and support. I was referred to Dr. Merz for hip surgery. I have only good things to say about Dr. Merz from the initial consultation, at surgery all the way through the 6 week follow-up with him. He has a wonderful bedside manner & answers all questions with regard to how a patient understands the answers. (He doesn't talk in a manner that's hard to understand, using unfamiliar words). I highly recommend this dr for your surgical needs!
