My wife and I have used Medspring a few times in the past year for various needs. Here are the pros and cons from various visits over the past year. Pros: - Doctor Megan Linley. She's not the absolute best doctor I've seen, but she's the best one here. Knowledgeable and overall nice. She will thoroughly answer any question. - Examination rooms. The rooms are actually pretty nice. A TV you can control and very comfy couches to sit on so you don't only have to sit on the examination bench. The lobby with refreshments is also ... read more

Had cold-like symptoms for several days, found this place online and thought I'd go there to get it checked out. Unfortunately I was turned away because they couldn't "verify that my insurance was a PPO," even though the documentation I showed them clearly stated that it was a PPO. Luckily I just had cold-like symptoms and was able to head to CVS up the street to pick up some medicine, but what if I was someone who was seriously ill and needed to be checked out? Isn't that why they call these places "urgent care facilities?"... read more

Just got a check for the overpayment because they couldn't check to see if they cover Blue Cross Blue Shield and it over charged I called on it and they insisted it was right. finally after talking to the third person they realized it was wrong watch your bills they're sneaky. Super shady. First how do you not know if you cover Blue Cross shield. Second try to underpay my $25

Business response:

Hello, Since there are so many different insurance plans (within each insurance company) we usually contact the insurance company to verify insurance and type of plan. If we are unable to reach the insurance company at your visit we will bill or reimburse patients at a later date. We apologize that there was some miscommunication in regards to the visit charge and what the insurance would cover. We would be happy look into the issue further if you had any other questions or feedback you would like to discuss. Feel free to pr... read more

Walked in around 6:30pm, the place was empty and no one was at the front desk, stood there until someone came out of the back and asked, "what's wrong with you?" I explained my "issue" and was asked to hold on while the worker went to ask the Dr. about my symptoms. With little to no information of my problem I was told to go to ER and that the Dr. there could not help me. Floored at the response I asked to see the Dr. still, as I did not believe I needed the medical attention of ER staff. Wouldn't recomend.

Would not recommend this office. Very unprofessional staff. After seeing Dr. Dennis T Um for ear pain I ended up in the ER with a severe ear infection from him poking/removing wax from my ear. Also when I was done with my visit the receptionist said I owed $100 for my visit. I thought was strange because I had submitted my insurance to her and have never been asked to pay anything but a small co-pay at any doctors office even when using their practice in the past. When I received my bill in the mail I didn't owe $100 I owed ... read more

I stopped in tonight at 8:50. Yes, I know it's close to closing time. I needed an X Ray and the receptionist said "it would take 30 minutes to turn back on our x Ray machine, so we can't do anything for you". If you close at 9:00- why is the machine off? Won't be back or recommending.

Business response:

I came to this Medspring location about a month ago for a scratched eye. For some reason I end up scratching my eye about once a year so this is nothing new to me unfortunately. (I have an appointment with an ophthalmologist next week to hopefully figure it out!) I used to have 2 prescription eye drops: 1 was an antibiotic and 1 was for pain/irritation to numb the eye. I had lost the antibiotic drops but still had the drops for irritation but they were 2 years expired and weren't helping. If you've ever had a scratched eye, ... read more

Very little wait time. First woman that came in to take my vitals was very nice and friendly. She asked me about all my symptoms. The doctor, however, was rude from the minute she walked in saying "what can I do for you". Well I just told the lady all my symptoms... Figured you would at least look at that. She asked if I had fevers and I told her I was getting hot often and she asked what temperature and then scoffed at me when I told her I didn't have a thermometer. . Asked about immunizations and I said I didn't get the fl... read more
