I'm amending my review now to 1 stars and would go 0 stars if possible. I've now been told by "Crystal" that I can't possibly be positive because the State would have notified me within 72 hours of my test, to which no one can verify. I am reporting this to respective authorities, including Chicago and State health departments. If I could give no stars I would. The customer service here was terrible, everyone was super rude! I received my bill and I was billed for things I didn't get done. I work healthcare I know how to read EOBs and invoices. This place was definitely better when it was Medspring.

The clinic staff was great, and the in person part was fine. The rest, not so much. I went for COVID testing on 5/4 as I woke up with a fever. It was relatively easy, I waited probably 20 minutes. The staff was nice and I liked the PA. I was told I'd get results in 3-4 days. Day 4 and I call the clinic mid afternoon because I hadn't heard anything. I start off this review by saying the nurse and doctor were very friendly. This would be a 5-Star review but for the following. A few weeks ago I was feeling sick and wanted to go to an urgent care. I called and asked if they took my insurance and was assured they do. So I made an appointment. When I checked in I gave my insurance card and nothing was said. Just left here because they couldn't verify my insurance (BCBS PPO) and wanted to charge me a $100 co-pay (I don't have copays on my plan and my deductible has been met) and they wanted to put a $265 hold on my card "until the insurance pays." Incredibly ridiculous and a huge waste of time.

This is NOT the place to go unless you've literally got no other option and your next option is the emergency room. I had a sinus infection so I came in for an appointment. This is something I've done in the past with other urgent care providers and my typically billed amount is ~$50 for this service. It's a quick appointment, low draw on their resources, so that to me seems like a reasonable amount. This place is a total scam. Brought my daughter in for a strep test. Doctor we saw was kind and professional, but billing desk was dishonest. Told me the visit would be $50, ended up charging $239. When I asked for a receipt so I could take up the extra charges with my insurer, they claimed the "system was down." Only after I complained loudly in front of other patients did they give me a receipt (seems the system wasn't down after all).
