I have never associated visiting a car dealership with having a good time, but then again I never visited South Bay MINI. Timmy Yang, my sales associate, is not only passionate and knowledgeable about MINIs, but he is also very enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service. Buying a car from a "car salesman", for me, has to be right up there with going to the dentist. My husband loves to buy and look for cars and always works with the Manager of a dealership when he is ready to purchase. That was not the case at South Bay BMW/Mini in Torrance. I worked with Timmy in looking for an ideal, but somewhat rare car: A non-S convertible manual. Timmy bent over backwards and ordered the car for me quickstyle, got it to the dealership and even coordinated with another dealer (Chris?) on his day off for us to come see it. Timmy also worked to get our loan preapproved. Alas, it did not work out as personal reasons (namely planning on starting a family) made us chicken out of buying a new car. I came into this dealership with a name from a friend. Alex helped me with all my questions and inquiries on the new mini. She was absolutely knowledgeable about every aspect of the car and on top of it, was super friendly! I have already recommended her to my friends shopping for either bmw or mini's. South bay is lucky to have her!

Chris, his associates and management made this purchase a pleasant experience with the added benefit of having a very great car in the garage. We had looked at another dealership prior to visiting his office but it did not make an impact. South Bay MINI and the experience with that team made the difference.

What a great experience. Alex Do is simply amazing. If you are a serious MINI enthusiast or just learning more about the brand like I was, I would highly recommend visiting with Alex at South Bay MINI. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient. I called about a few weeks back inquiring about a particular model mini, and Alex Do received my call. I spoke to her for about 10mins or so asking her questions about the lasted model mini I was interested in buying. Just from the short conversation I had with her I can tell that she had the uttermost professionalism in customer service and was willing to work with over the phone. She was not pushy at all and answered all of my questions. I am definitely going to come in and hopefully purchase a car from South Bay MINI!
