I prefer to speak with a live person, but everytime I called, the person had such a thick accent, I ended up doing it all on line.
Absolutely terrible service. Screwed me around over deposits. They were supposed to notify me when they picked up the car but they didn't and now I need to find storage for a week because I don't have the documents at the border, the person I spoke to from Montway had a heavy Chinese accent that I could barely understand her. My experience is terrible. Since then, I contacted Montway and explained my expewrience and they promptly refunded the extra mondy the transportation company charged me.
Too many steps.
Professional and knowledgeable. As of today 6/11 have not received delivery when email by Montway est delivery date was 6/08. After I contacted transporter by phone(312-6050168)morning of 6/10. I received a txt from transporter that delivery was to be on the same afternoon (6/10) btwn 3-7pm. After waiting at delivery address from 2:45pm and still no delivery, I called Montway Cust. Very simple to get a quote. Price was better than competitors plus the service seems more professional. -Update after delivery- Working with Montway was an absolutely terrible experience. Aside from the ease of setting up transport and them taking your money they do nothing for you. They don't know when your bike will be picked up, mine was picked up 10 days AFTER the estimated pick up date and no one could tell me why or when it would actually be picked up despite multiple calls. After getting the quote approved by my company (with my car`s pick-up date: 06/06/2022) I was informed that in order to ship my car on that date I would have to pay an extra charge. This is unacceptable and unprofessional.
So far I am not impressed with the service I have received from Montauk, I had a window of 5/31 to 6/07 pickup, I had to call on 06/06 to check why I haven’t received any calls. After being transferred more than 3 times the representative told me my car was going to be picked up the next day, but couldn’t provide a pickup window. I hope the delivery experience is more positive and I am contacted proactively.
