I love the Surprise and Carefree location! Childcare is amazing and the Zumba classes keep me coming back week after week! Monthly rates won't break the bank and I love the new app that keeps me posted on class schedules and upcoming events!

Lots of empty machines, but I always have to wait for the ones I need. They might want to rethink their inventory. It's too hot in this gym. They're stingy on the AC and their wifi never works. We quit the gym after a rep got smart with me when I asked him why the wifi never works. Maybe he'll think twice about being a smartass to customers in the future, or maybe not. Great experience. My favorite mountainside! Very clean and the best gym for a very reasonable price.
Absolutely fantastic gym and workout experience. The employees are helpful and personable, the atmosphere is open and friendly. Free towel service, water bottle refill station, smoothie bar (a bit pricey, but delicious) and impeccably clean and spacious locker rooms/showers. Have been going to mountainside for a few years now and I have to say one of the nicest gyms around. My reason for 4 stars is there is always something broken for example I went there and the majority of the stairclimbers were broken and the one I ended using sounded like it was on its way out. Other than that very clean and the smoothie bar is amazing!
Was a member for about a year or so when I lived nearby. The gym was always very clean and well cared for. Generally if a piece of equipment was down, it wasn't down for very long. The staff was always helpful and attentive and I never had any negative experiences when going there. Sadly I moved away and need to find a new gym but if anyone is looking for a nice, comfortable gym with a ton of options, Mountainside fits the bill.
4 stars only because of: No water fountain in locker room No paper towel to dry hands after washing the in the bathroom & the hand blower is ancient. You have to hand over your membership pass to get checked in - why can't I scan it myself - it traffic jams the lobby.
