The gym is clean and really a place I'd recommend pre Covid. The problem with the gym now is its not safe. You are required to wear a mask in but not required to wear a mask when working out. There are signs but no employee speaks up to enforce the signage. Covid will spread at this gym because the staff don't enforce the mask policy which is very sad

Been a member for about 2.5 years. Last year I developed pancreatic cancer and asked them to freeze my membership. They said they said ok. No one told me that they could only freeze my membership for 3 months. Then my account was charged again not only a monthly fee but there most ridiculous annual fee as if 44.00 a month isn't enough. When I could work out the only thing I ever used was the cardio equipment and weights and once in awhile the restroom. Love this gym.. Since the media driven panic of a virus and politically motivated control of the public this gym has risen above..Employees are wearing masks and are continuously spraying down the equipment to make sure there is no issue with the spread of a virus with a 98% survival rate. Gym patrons are wiping down the equipment with sani wipes after use, every other treadmill is shut down for social distancing and classes are reduced and participants are more than 6 ft apart, both before and after classes the room is clea... read more

When the YMCA closed down the Silver Sneakers 'free' program, my husband and I begin to look for another place that would work for us. The fitness center at Carefree and 27th Avenue is where we landed. They give us a great deal that is very affordable. We had a truly five star experience here with Joe, our membership services associate. He was helpful, informative, and most of all no pressure. Frankly, this gym facility and its amenities sells itself. Spacious. Clean. Well equipped. Joe was the very pleasant human component that helped guide our initial tour. We visited three gyms this morning and chose MF based upon the informative and no pressure sales approach, but mainly the amenities and included classes. Very competitive. I've been going to this (and other locations) for almost 8 years. Everything from the management, to the classes, to the equipment is great. You always see people cleaning which I really like. The staff has always been friendly too. Best gym I've ever been to.

I am in town for a short visit and have been obtaining day passes. If I lived here, I am certain this would be my gym of choice. There is a nice variety of equipment and amenities. The facility is extremely clean, including the saunas and locker room. The employees and trainers are personable and here to help. The management needs to be commended for running such a great operation. I have enjoyed this fitness center tremendously.

Im indecisive about this location, I've only come no more than 10 times. Some of the towels have stains (white is not a good color choice) but the women's locker room is always so clean! Some employees greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome and some don't. I came on a Sunday morning and the child up front had no idea what he was doing.
