If you really can not afford a small group training gym then this place is ok. Nothing like the gyms in anthem where you are always with your trainer and small group of people but still getting personal training. Its just a place that you to sign a contract, they do not care if you come or not.
Sarah was awesome to get me set up with membership. Gym is clean and equipment solid.
Tried this location to see how busy it was compared to desert ridge. The gym itself is fine but the staff is not friendly and will straight up ignore you. My girlfriend asked the gentleman up front if he could make us a shake and he said "no I have to watch the front". The other guy in member services just stared at us but decided the free coffee needed to be attended too and didn't acknowledge us when were sitting at the counter, walked by, and started messing with the coffee. I love this gym! This one! The day care is the best you'll find out of all of them! I am a difficult parent and my baby girl is like her mama. I got very bad anxiety after she was born and wouldn't leave her with anyone! The girls here went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. They were sometimes the only adult conversation for days. It was just me and my little one and with her being a very fussy baby that never slept. Good location, great class schedule...personally I enjoy a smaller environment. The kids camp area is great for parents.
When I joined, I loved the club. It's when I cancelled my membership that it has been bad. I was moving out of the area and I cancelled my membership at the club. Now three months later I am getting calls that my payment hasn't gone through. I have explained to various people that I cancelled my membership in the club as I knew I was moving out of the area. After going to LA Fitness (moon valley) for about 12 years my wife and I finally made a decision to make the switch and join this gym. This was mainly because of the location, plus the new one is opening at happy valley which is even going to be closer to me so the convenience factor played the biggest role in my decision. I have going to this location for awhile and take my kids to the child care. My kids keep getting sick from this location and today I know why. The children's club manager is negligent in that she allows sick kids into the club. This morning I saw a very sick child in the kid's club area and I informed them that the kid looked sick. They said it was okay because the mother said "the child is on antibiotics, so it's okay." The poor child appeared very miserable and snot covered his face. This is the only gym I've been to aside from ones on university campuses and I really enjoy coming here. The staff is super friendly, the facility and locker rooms are clean. For $44/mo you get unlimited access to the gym and classes - yoga, Pilates, Zumba, etc. The rate goes down to $38/mo if you sign the yearly contract. You also get guest passes and can bring in family members for free every Sunday.
