This is the WORST gym I've ever used, at any location! It is over priced and always packed, their unprofessional associates have less than enough experience. If you want to try and cancel forget it, they will steal your money! I am not one to write reviews , but after speaking with unprofessional staff at the corporate level and getting nowhere as well as not having a customer support service here I am. Consider yourself warned!

I am so glad to have found this gym. It's clean, affordable, doesn't have that meat market feel and there's a bunch of nice people that go here. The gym itself is updated and the equipment is maintained. As far as bathrooms are concerned, the ladies room seems always clean in the morning when I'm there. I like how there's always enough towels small rolled ones and large ones throughout the bathroom and open spaces. Since I'm a fanatical group exerciser I'm going to write about the classes that they have here: Pro: There is a... read more

Great, local gym. Love the classes and plenty of machines. Teens love the weight room & basketball court. Wish they offered more classes and fitness classrooms were swept between morning & evening classes though.

This gym is hot as crap! I was a member, but not anymore. They keep the gym in the mid 70's. That's right... Mid 70's!!!!! A hot summer day in most places up north. Who wants to workout in that? They really need to crank it down 6 or 7 degrees. If they did that's it would be a great place, but with the stink of everyone vigorously sweating on the machines from the hot, humid temperature, I'll pass. Do yourself a favor and join any other gym that actually knows what Air Conditioning is. EOS keeps it cool, as does Lifetime.

I've been going to this gym since it first opened. It's gone through some changes. I used to consider It a 5 star gym but it isn't quiet what it used to be. Gym etiquette has gotten worse. It is way too over crowded with a lot of wait times. The locker room smell has never been and probably never will be resolved. With that said the staff is polite and generally helpful. But I think the glory days of Mountainside fitness are over, it's more like another corporate chain now. Until they raise rates expect a major crowd.

I would give this a better rating but this rating is purely based on Dylan King; he's a salesman at mountainside and he's extremely manipulative. Mountain side overall is an amazing gym, just look at their website or ask for a tour. The staff there are top notch with the exception of Dylan King. I believe businesses are ethically obligated to look out for their customers. But with regards to Dylan King, he thrives off manipulation and corrupt business practices most likely for personal gains at the expense of other people. I... read more

As someone that was in club management for many years in the D.C. area, I'll do my best to give a fair review. I'm only giving two stars for the following reasons... I will say that the club is very clean. Hands down, they have a crew that comes in during the day and thoroughly cleans the equipment and the amenities and they do a very good job of it. Other clubs have a bit to be desired in this area, so I'll give MS a big thumbs up for that. They also have a great variety of equipment for everyone. Free weights, a big assort... read more

After a year of coming here is still two stars, Facility equipment has improved and the staff still wonderful, but if I hear one more excuse about their cable provider and the kind of service they receive, I am going to hold payment from my bank, I just paid an annual additional fee for club improvements and the TVs still not working. Get it together people everything else is working fine.

I received a flyer which read that the first month is free and zero enrollment so long you enroll by end of month. Much like the offer you can see on their website at this time. As an attorney I always know that you have to read the fine print as there are going to be additional costs, but I was a bit shocked when I was actually charged for the first month. I didn't really mind as we were mid-month, thus it wasn't that much. Yet, the fact that it was a bold face bait and switch didn't sit too well. Plus, I really don't see w... read more
