I love this gym. This has been my gym since it's opening-with an 11 year break when I lived in Mexico. That is why I am so so disappointed that this gym apparently has little regard for CDC guidelines or for my health. CDC guidelines as stated on the AZDHS states that masks are required at all times while in the gym. When I went to this location, I was told they masks are optional when doing cardio--a clear violation of the CDC guidelines. I have been a member of Mountainside Fitness since it opened in Chandler. Due to my knees causing problems and needing surgery, the COVID treat and the lack of being able to use the facility, I decided to cancel my membership back in mid-July. I have made four attempts to call and submit my request or instructions through the Support on their website and at no time did they respond. I have lived and worked out in gyms across the U.S. and internationally. I've worked with the top trainers in a variety of major cities and I have to say that I have never found a better trainer than Joey Feasel. He is the MOST dedicated and organized trainer I have ever witnessed. Not only does he reach out to confirm all appointments, keeping me on track, but he follows up with genuine concern to ensure I'm doing well the next day. Update from review that somehow was taken down!! Weird. The 5 star ones remain. After leaving a review in June, I was contacted by Ally ( ally was very nice btw ) on July 1st. After reviewing my membership she emailed me on July 2 and said I would get a full refund. I was very excited but the refund never hit my account. In fact, I was billed another time which was rejected by my bank. I was then passed to a girl name Megan and then Joyce and finally was pushed to a gal named Grace.. I have been a member to many gyms in this past 25 years, this gym is the best value for the money by far! They are clean, state of the art, friendly, and a model for a local business. I highly recommend this gym! Their locker rooms and childcare also always clean and taken care of! You won't be disappointed!

I am so proud to offer my support to a gym that is willing to fight these unconstitutional orders coming from the governors office. I joined the other day when they decided to remain open and the gym I was using closed down. Plus the staff is very nice and helpful. The facilities are amazing and very well maintained. Proud to be a new member.

I have been to many gyms throughout the Nation for the last many years, many gyms, many years. I have been to gyms in NJ, NY, CA, and here in Arizona. Mountainside fitness has great equipment, updated and working fine, the cleanliness was not only during covid19, but it has been always clean. There are great staff members, respectful and ready to help. What is even better is that I feel safe at this gym during these horrific times. Fully support this gym. They've always keep it clean and stocked with sanitizer and wipes. Every time I go I see multiple employees cleaning the equipment following the cdc guidelines. I use this gym to help cope with my anxiety and I couldn't be happier. You will be happy joining this gym!!

I've been going to mountainside fitness for ~ 4 years, but with the recent covid-19 pandemic and the situation where I have an auto-immune system disease it makes me susceptible to the virus, My doctor does not want me to go to the club during this time. I thought OK I will just cancel my membership and Mountainside would prorate my annual fee. And to make matters worse they want me to go in person to cancel.
