Get directionsMy tree did not survive. I am extremely disappointed
Ordered five redbud trees and when we opened the boxes they looked dead. Planted all five and only two grew a couple of leaves at the bottom apparently where it was grafted? By the end of summer all of them were dead. Crap products don’t buy. Buy locally with a real Nursery that Guarantees their products 100%..
I ordered an Audubon Native Smoketree (Cotinus obovatus). It arrived yesterday. It's pretty and I planted it, but it is Cotinus grace, a crossbreed with the Asian, not a full American smoketree. The container it arrived in is marked Cotinus grace, and it plainly looks like another grace I mistakenly bought elsewhere. I will dig it up and replace it as soon as I find a place that will sell me an actual American smoke tree. This should not be presented on the site as a full native tree.
Ordered 3 bareroot quaking aspen trees. Credit card was billed immediately, but trees did arrive for a month. Trees were extremely small and looked feeble upon arrival. For $100+ a piece, I'm kicking myself for not sourcing larger, healthier trees locally.
Very disappointed in the red painted ferns that I received. There was no beauty in three of them because of broken leaves, dried out leaves, and a scarcity of leaves. I will think twice about ordering from Nature Hills Nursery again.
Received a stick. No leaves and really unsure what kind of tree was sent. I ordered a weeping cherry, however there is no grafting to indicate it is indeed weeping. L
My first order was fine. Everything that I received was in good quality and arrived undamaged and on time. So I had no reason to believe that my second order would be any different. WOW! The plants (I call them twigs to be more precise!) arrived damaged, half dead, and approximately 8" tall with only 1 stem. Now, let's be honest. You can go to any box store, I prefer Lowe's, and see what you are buying, pick thru to find your favorite and pay WAY less! I bought these 2 hydrangeas for a total of $78 and would NEVER have paid ... read more
First and last time I'll give them my business. I purchased 3 trees of which only 1 survived. In order to replace the 2 dead trees, they were going to charge me much more than I paid for the original 3 trees and that didn't include shipping and handling. They get you in with their initial great deals, then charge you an insane amount to replace the inferior plants they send you. Yes, I should have bought a warranty, but no, I shouldn't have had to deal with dead trees I just planted. Their customer service is robotic an... read more
I bought 2 California Lilacs and they were not cheap. They both died. They were still under warranty but the warranty only covered 1/2 the price of the original cost of each plant. I went ahead and purchased two more. They both also died and now it is no longer within the warranty period and even if it were, they would only cover 1/2 the price of the second purchase with is basically not much. Besides, who wants plants from a nursery that continue to die. They were not terribly helpful or understanding the first time I told ... read more
