Gus was amazing. I called and I didnt receive an answer. Within two minutes Gus called me back and we talked as if we were old friends. I was concerned with a charge off on my account and after review with Gus, he explained that would not be an issue. However, upon further review I had an open judgement but Gus was straight forward and honest and told me with 3 months of accurate payments to the creditor, I would have no problem getting approved. I was credit challenged & had not met a loan officer willing to work with me until Gustan. He took the time to go into depth over my scenario and informed me i should easily qualify.He referred me to someone licensed in VA to do a FHA loan as USA mortgage is not yet licensed in VA.

I called Gustan Cho this afternoon because I was depleted in how I was being treated by other mortgage lenders and their overlays (their guidelines that overlay or over rule that of the specific VA guidelines). And...although he was not able to assist me with our loan because I was in New York State in which he does not cover...he sent me to a very professional as well as caring mortgage lender who has dealt with many VA home loans and veterans. Gustan is amazing! He was not able to help us in our state so he referred us to someone who could help. He also stayed involved to make sure everything worked out. He received nothing for the help except the satisfaction of helping.

After going through some tough times financially in the past, I wondered when we would be able to buy a home. I tried with several lenders and was always told I need to wait another year. Gus always responds to my questions via text message quickly. He responds in a thorough way because he is a professional. If he doesn't know the answer to the questions he lets me know that he doesn't know but then he goes and finds the answer. I live far from Gus but I will never choose another lender to handle my mortgages because I have found the very best one. UPDATE: Gus stuck with me for six years until I was finally able buy a house. Gus and his team did what they said they would do. They were able to get myself and my family in their first home before the New Year. I previously was trying to get approved through another lender and wasn’t successful. I searched the net and came across Gustan Cho.
