It was great through and through.
Dealing with Norma was fantastic. She was pleasant to deal with and on top of our file. I was less pleased with underwriting. Since our loan is already with Penny Mac, I'm suprised things did not go smoother. They really made it much more difficult due to my being self-employed. I understand that bank statements are needed, but it was over the top. They wanted updated statements and then statements that had my company name (which no one uses, as I am a sole practictioner).

I liked that Penny Mac kept in touch with me through the whole process and how cordial Norma and Edward were through everything. The loan took a little longer to process than I had hoped, (due to how busy they were with today's refinance fervor)but everyone was really great to work with along the way.
Prompt communication and follow up at every stage of the process, and an attitude to serve better to customer as per their need makes the difference. Keep the good work.
Everyone involved always made sure we were apprised and aware of everything, step by step
Penny Mac was very good about keeping me informed along the process even when nothing was happening at the moment. I appreciated the weekly updates letting me know everything was moving along. The document uploading was easy although an ongoing list of documents I had previously uploaded would be nice. A very smooth experience.
Very seamless process. Every step was handled expediently and efficiently.
I got a lot of redundant emails and when I was asked for documentation I sent it in right away then was asked for the same documentation again I had to call several times to verify that Penny Mac received it the person I talk to on the phone said they received it but nobody put it in the file
