Hi, I wanted to reach out as I had a very disappointing Oil stop experience on 8/20/22 at the Petaluma location. I went in for a normal oil change and unfortunately left there with more issues than I arrived with. Immediately after leaving, I got a check engine light and my car starting running very poorly. I spent the next half of my day checking for codes and found multiple failures by the Oil Stop staff, please see below. 1. I had my oil changed yesterday but the Coddingtown shop in Santa Rosa. They were thorough and professional. Gave my car a good check up. I am usually leary of thee places but my daughter said to try out and I am sold. Thank you!
The staff here is beyond a 5 star. They let you know everything that's going on educating you so you're well informed. They top off all your other fluids and even offer a free complimentary drink before they even service you. They even have a 30 point inspection for your car to make sure your car is well and maintained. Not coming back. $190 for a change w/ cabin air filters (they don't stock the 2 under the hood or it would have been four. They tried to sell me a bunch of other work. $500 or so worth. And it took about an hour and a half to get the service done. I sat in the hot sun waiting. Once in the facility, I was trapped. Cars and trucks running their engines inside - great - I now have an awful headache. I ended up spending $190. And it could have been $700. The attendant mumbles. And fumbles. When I showed up they gave me a water bottle and a wipe for my dash. Overall this was a great start and everyone working there seemed very nice. The reason for the poor review is the wash was horrible. I wish I wouldn't have even gone to this car wash. It was the worst cleaning of my truck i have ever recieved. It was cool that everyone was nice, but what I really wanted was a clean vehicle and that did not happen.

So pleasant experience!!!!! But later on I found that my brake fluid was running out and my friend car was running out its coolant ... I guess they don't really check the fluids any more?

I've been coming to this establishment for the last three years since we moved to Norwalk and I've always received top service each time I've visited. The guest service they provide doesn't pressure you into buying a service or make you feel like you don't take care of your car. They answer any questions you have and always discuss what is recommended. They don't need to offer something to drink but it's part of their great service and it's much appreciated. I always recommend them to friends and family.
