Fast, curtious, and clean. Very friendly staff and didn't push hard with their other options. I would return for sure.

As the other yelpers can attest - this is not your ordinary oil change place. They showed me my oil level before they changed it, showed me my air filter, made recommendations and even showed me the clean oil level when they were done. AND they too offered me a cold drink while waiting. They won a regular customer ...

I used to really like this place, and to an extent I really still do, but I do have to say a couple things start to annoy you if you go there every time for your oil change. 1. It's an oil change, not brain surgery. The way these goes shout at each other while changing your oil is almost like they're in boot camp. It's a little weird but I'm sure management has beaten them over the head that they have to do it that way. It's nice that their professional, but it can be toned down big time. 2. I don't want to be offered 3-4 pr... read more

I had my oil changed at Oil Stop in Petaluma and was left feeling bombarded with unnecessary service request. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad thing if your car legitimately needs the transmission, rear end, power steering, radiator fluids changed. In my case I had the transmission and rear end fluids changed at another Oil Stop six months prior and the technicians where suggesting that I do it again, when I told them about this they told me that their computers can't share records with that other location. Really? I get... read more

Came back from Sonoma county and stopped by at the In-N-Out Burger, just next door from the car wash. Oilstop offers $5 car washes and I thought I treat my car to something nice. I was impressed: The car was very clean, hand-dried and the tires/wheels were sparkling clean and shiny. You can't get that kind of clean at the regular gas station (and even then you pay at least $6). For this kind of car wash you pay $20-30 in San Francisco. Great job!

Great and efficient. I really get a kick out of eavesdropping on their paramilitary banter going on underground. Kinda like that middle part of 'yellow submarine'. It's worth going for that alone. (The santa rosa one is better than the rohnert park one.) Just make sure you say no to all the 'extras' and don't feel pressured, or your bill could shoot up.

Holy Christ, don't take your car here. The kids (yes kids, I used to bring my car here while I was still in high school, and three of the employees at the time were in my classes) don't really seem to like their jobs all that much. The company seems to really love overcharging -- go to Midas, Jiffy Lube, or hell even your dealer and get a cheaper oil change & tire rotation. I've done so several times and have been much happier.

I'm picky about my vehicles and where I take them for service. I'm always very hesitant to take them into Jiffy Lube and other oil change places. If I do, I always have to stand there and watch the workers to make sure they don't do something dumb (I saw one start my truck without oil in it once!). I tried Oilstop on a whim one day and was impressed with the level of service. These guys were not only very professional, but thorough too. My truck has a skid plate which most places either won't remove or will charge extra for ... read more

Either people don't know this place's exact address or there's way more of these than the Oilstop website lists for Rohnert Park. Regardless, my experience here was quite good. They do tend to up-sell on certain things like diff lube, tranny fluid, radiator flushing and so forth. In my case I did need the radiator done, however, and they inspected the new used car I had just bought, and pointing things that really did need to be dealt with. If you're clueless and are worried about being 'sold' on more maintenance than you t... read more
