I am formally expressing my dissatisfaction with the handling of my ** unit claim through Old Republic. Over a five-month period, two different contractors were sent out seven times, yet my ** unit remains unfixed. Despite having the unit professionally cleaned multiple times, I was repeatedly told it was too dirty for repairs, even though I provided photographic evidence proving otherwise. It was a total waste of the $125.00 service call, I live in a custom built home, my living room fan ceased working because of the motor. They sent the service person who basically validated what I already knew. The individual identified that the fan needed to be replaced, I was concerned because I didn't see him capturing the information about the current make and model. This company and its services providers have left my family without a water heater for over 6 days now. The best part is there has been no follow up from anyone and they have ultimately ruined our Thanksgiving holiday.

I just bought a house and it came with this "Insurance" I had to call them for 3 simple things, each time you schedule a service you have to pay $100 the first guy showed up (not the most kind person) but thats not on the insurance company, the thing is, the guy was not the specialist for the thermometer I wanted to fix so he had to reschedule for a second visit. I have over 15 properties with the Old Republic Home Warranty Policy for many years. It appears to me that the quality of the providers contracted by OR have been very incompetent. The "random" assignment of a contractor to respond to a service request is often time money wasted. Of course, OR claims that they want to give their contractors equal chances to get jobs assigned. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I spent 6 hours on hold, and spoke with multiple assistance providers, all who had a different take on the procedures to use local providers. We have been with them for more than 5 years. Each time we attempt to utilize our policy we have gotten the run around, oven, dishwasher. Recently, as of yesterday, 11/20/2024 we needed to replace our hot water heater. We were given contractors from the ORHP's list to remedy the problem. Not good at all. For an emergency plumbing problem had to wait 4 days.Old Republic had my wrong email address and I couldnt contact the plumber. The problem resulted in having to call a mold and water remediation company to replace flooring and some drywall. Tenements have to move out and home insurance is spending thousands of dollars to fix the house. I have to pay a high deductible.
