Employees are rude and give you attitude on the phone. Had me on hold multiple times for over 2 hours! Kept transferring me to another person, wouldnt listen to the issue I was having, then claimed that the company would not cover my issue when I already had approval for the service to be covered. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone, extremely poor customer service and they will look for any reason to not cover a service for an appliance after charging you a service fee. Its at the point that even though Im covered I will not bother to call them for any issues related to my homes appliances. Expect when they finally do get back to you after a few days they will cancel your appointment despite initially telling you were covered. This company is a scam and doesn't cover claims. My pool filter cracked and was leaking water. I turned it off and called them. By the time their service provider came out more than 2 days later there was algae beginning to grow in the pool. Old republic refused the claim indicating we misused the pool filter by allowing algae to grow in the pool. It is the most backwards logic I have ever experienced! Got this USELESS warranty from seller when I bought my last house. They need to be investigated for fraudulent business practices.Pool filters housing top dome cracked and instead of covering it they keep claiming my filter cartridges caused the problem even though the 2nd tech they sent told me your pool cartridges have nothing to do with a cracked filter housing dome. I have renewed my policy for 12 years, when I filed my claim 4 days ago because of a malfunctioning ac unit in ******* when it is over *********************************************************************************** Not only am I hot, Im even more mad that they charged me for it, and still waiting for a result. Ive called the contractor assigned who doesnt answer multiple times, as well as old republic 3 times - when you are paying top dollar for a service, I expect a little more in return

Terrible. Wonder if I should get a lawyer. Our AC has been out for a month. They have sent 5 people from 3 different companies to fix our ******* ** unit. All of them say they need a ******* specific service person with the right diagnostic equipment. But old republic just says that they dont have a contract with *******. So they say we have to find someone on our own to diagnose the problem. What the heck? If we have to do it ourselves, why do we have a home warranty. Terrible service. They told me to contact an out of network provider. Then no one answers the phone at Old Republic. Very very very bad service. Cannot say enough bad things about these people.

Their hold times are too long. I am writing this review while on hold for more than 30 minutes now. When I called to buy policy I had no wait time.
