Not so well. The crew damaged the hydrangea tree in the front yard as they were tearing off the old roof. I communicated my disappointment to them in the lack of care given to my property. The roof project took longer than expected but they didn't communicate the delays to me so I wasn't aware of why it was taking longer. Some of the wood trim around the windows had rotted. I will say that they did an excellent job washing the roof, it looks like new now, however the experience was terrible. They came out, gave an estimate, asked for a deposit and said they would call with the date. I waited a month with no word. I then started calling them. It took four phone calls over the span of more than a week to secure a date that the work would be done. <br /> The crew came relatively on time did their thing and asked for payment. A representative came over. He was not interested in getting on our roof. He simply looked up at it and told us it would be about $22,000(!!!!!) And this was without knowing what our roofing problems were or anything else. So, that $22K would have turned into $30Kvery quickly. What a rip off. Other estimates were in the 12,000 - 13,000 range. This "representative" knew nothing about roofs and probably had never been on one, so how could he estimate. <br />

When I called to schedule an appointment for someone to estimate roof repairs, the person who answered was very flustered and unprepared. She scheduled at appointment for someone to come out. Two days before the scheduled appointment she called to confirm, and told me that the estimator would be there between 11 and 1 o'clock. After waiting that time period no one showed up. Response to the request for the quote on time but did not get the works. The quote price is 1/3 more than other roofer with the same Owens Corning roof and warranty and the same review rating from Angies. Good presentation of their workmanship but too expensive. <br />

I contacted O'Lyn in the late summer of 2011 for an annual inspection of my roof and sealing of a skylight. They said they would come out and inspect the roof. I was anxious to get the job done before winter and called several times, but they delayed. The woman who answered the phone said my name was not on the schedule. She put me on hold while she checked further and returned to say she had found the appointment on the schedule but it was written in pencil.
