Food was good and plentiful. Noise level very high making dinner conversation difficult. Great wine list. Waitstaff was great.
Great experienced staff serving wonderful food. Verry accommodating for a late arrival
Went for a Mommy-n-Me dinner with my daughter. We sat at a little corner table along the windows facing the street- which made for great people watching over the course of our meal. Everyone was very attentive- the servers, food runners, even the bartender. The kid's pizza was huge- she ate a couple of slices and had ample leftovers. I thoroughly enjoyed both a salad (also huge and more than I could finish) as well as a pesto ravioli that was incredible. I also highly recommend the limoncello cake for dessert. We enjoyed our dinner. A bit overpriced as is everything in the area. Our server was extremely attentive. Somewhat noisy but also kind of romantic ambience.
This is the fourth time we dined at the reatirant Food is always fresh, service excellent and the Chef makes his rounds to the tables Nice touch
Went there as part of restaurant week in a group of four on a Friday evening with prior reservation. Able to be seated early. The decor and lighting gives off a Tuscan vibe which gives it a romantic feel as soon as you enter. Good: Fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip was brought to the table quickly. The Millefoglie de Vegetali e Mozzerella appetizer was delicious, with grilled vegetables, mozzerella and pesto drizzle which all worked really well together. My husband's Pollo Siciliano had good flavor although... read more
No longer what it was a few years ago. The food used to be extraordinary; now it's competent, but too busy (hearts of palm and avocado and who knows what else all over the carpaccio-- really?). Too bad, because the service, location, wine list, and interior of the place are all just lovely. Have eaten here once every couple of years (I come to San Diego for a regular trade show) for more than a decade.
Mario, our server, was wonderful. He was passionate and knowledgeable about the menu. Offered to make adjustments to the menu to allow our whole group to sample.
Went here on New Year's Eve and found it to be a great surprise. We enjoyed a family dinner and the food was great. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely go here again.
