Food was good - nothing to get excited about but it was solid. The place was clean and the staff were fine. Nothing really stood out about it. You won't be disappointed but you won't be amazed and sometimes that is all you want.
Today I decided to dine in this Italian restaurant and it was a great choice! I had this amazing dish called the tomahawk steak and it was delicious! Very well cooked and the dish was beautifully presented. Also our server Mario was a sweetheart, very polite and friendly! Definitely one of the best experiences I've had in a while!
I've been here a few times & it is always outstanding. Great freshness & flavors. It can get a little loud & boisterous in the tight space, but that also makes it kind of fun & lively. Solid Italian wine list that has several very reasonable options.
If you don't know Osteria Panevino yet you really are missing out! Best Italian food in San Diego hands down. Had dinner last night and once again this place can surprise me. I had the pasta alle Vongole, and my friend had the Ossobuco Milanese. Both outstanding, the pasta was perfection, cooked al dente and the Ossobuco! The experience you get here is one of a kind! I've travelled and dined at many Italian restaurants and none of been like this one. Ambiance is great, food is exquisite and the staff is over the top friendly!
Came here for dinner last night I had a magnificent experience food was excellent the place is the only authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of the gaslamp the owners are Italian and the entire staff as well definitely a must try
Perfect! Great service as well as food! Everything is soo flavorful! I lobe every dish I have tried there! It just keeps getting better! Analisa, our server, was a sweetheart!
this place is a real gem.. this is the most authentic Italian food I ve had while living in san diego.. they make their pasta and bread in house, eccellent, all the servers speak Italian. The amazing flavors brough me back to Italy.. I will definitely recommend it
this place keeps me coming back for more.. I came here a long time ago with some friends, and I was impressed by the amazing food, and the superb service..
