I have been to Panevino several times. I love the gnocchis and they have a respectable wine list, specially italians. The service is friendly and quick, and the food is of very good quality with original dishes. I reccommend the pasta carbonara and the melanzzane. THey have an Amarone Valpolicella "eccesionale". But (there is always a but) what I didn´t like is that they charge you and 18% tip (we were a party of 3), even over the tax, no matter how satisfied or not you are wiht the service. I recently had a business meal at Osteria Panevino. Although the meal and service were above average, the noise level made it difficult to discuss business. I would definitely return for a social dining event since the food and service were top notch. The waiter was quite passionate about his job and left no detail to chance.
The food is always fantastic. This is my go-to spot whenever i have an event to attend in the Gaslamp area. Thank you, again, for an excellent dinner.

We had a wonderful lunch experience here on Sunday 4/10/16 during a time when large convention was in town. Food was very fresh by a scratch kitchen. Service was attentive and well versed in how to please. Even indulged one of our guest with a lively discussion in Italian. Would recommend to locals and people visiting San Diego.
My fiancé and I went to dinner on Easter and our dinner was incredible. I had the lobster gnocchi and Alex has the veal Parmesan, it was the best gnocchi I ever had in my life. I def recommend this place to other people and will be returning back. Our server was very nice and the atmosphere was great too.
Went there for Valentines Day and everything was amazing!
Couldn't have been better. Incredible menu. Toughest part is picking just one thing to order. Service was fantastic and friendly. A new favorite in San Diego.
