If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience in San Diego this is your spot. Service is friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the wine the server help us pick was perfect! It felt like I was in Italy! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Sorry, liked the food but did not like the waitress. She was so over the top insincere it was not funny. Overall seemed like Italian food fast food style.
We loved Osteria Panevino. We sat inside as it was a bit noisy outside. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. From stuffed mushrooms to tiramisu we enjoyed every dish.
[Disclosure: I'm a former restaurant GM] Wow! Had an awesome time with a group of eight on a Sat night. We even had a teenager in the bunch and he opted for dessert instead of adult dessert (wine), so all were fat and happy by the time we left. Our waiter, a Sicilian gent, had the chef make a special seafood pasta with olive oil for one of us and also accommodated us with an outstanding Grappa recommendation. Can't say enough good things about this visit. Mangia bene!!
Food was quite delicious. Service was adequate but not the very best.
This was our second time to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The service by Mario was exceptional (love his authentic Sicilian accent!!), especially considering the multitude of prom groups that were there at the same time. They are very accommodating and the food is amazing. Some of the yummiest homemade pasta ever. Will definitely spread the word about this great find in the heart of the Gaslamp.
Food was good - nothing to get excited about but it was solid. The place was clean and the staff were fine. Nothing really stood out about it. You won't be disappointed but you won't be amazed and sometimes that is all you want.
