Everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Staff are mean. If you can find one. People are always arguing and fighting between each other. If you're not able to be in prison, don't go here. They show this great picture of a green area outside but you can't even go use it. This place is a joke. And unsafe. For real treatment, go somewhere else.

I am not a patient there but when I phone to speak to a psych nurse the reception area gives you the 3rd degree. I don't want them to know my business they aren't the professionals!! I think this would be breaking some privacy law! If I need help I want to talk to a professional not a receptionis!!

Lipstick on a pig ! It's too bad that the program has gone the way it has , it was working until another buy out and another person in charge took over again ! Basically these guys own 208 hospitals and keep buying them up to line there pockets $$$ Untrained staff and poor facility conditions that require immediate attention and many other issues that amazed that they are not addressed in a timely manner . Hopefully this is one of the ways they will make them address the issues at this facility .

This Facility abuses the trust of it's Patients and their Families. My Mother was kept Doped up, Unfed & Unclean. They lied to us over the phone about 100% of Everything. My Mother was Belittled by the Staff including Medical. The Dr. One time tried convincing her that blood was drawn early (4-5am) one morning when she told him no he searched her bruised arms. I would never miss treat any human being this Facility does not practice my same beliefs. I would have given this place of business a negative star but this site requ... read more

Worst place ever! Under staffed with uncaring people. Could not sleep the whole week I was there. Food was horrible. Beds were very uncomfortable and made my back worse. They didn't even follow their own policies. The left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. For 3k a day please go somewhere else!

***NOT A PATIENT*** My mother was admitted to Pacific Grove Hospital the other day. I called to talk to her and found out I needed an ID number to be able to talk to her. So my dad and I waited for her to contact one of us and share the ID number with us. Then I called this morning with the ID number and the receptionist told me I had to call after 4PM. Fine, that cuts really close to my work schedule, but I get it. So I call back at 4:04 and the first lady I talked to hung up on me. Probably an error or connection issue. T... read more

I went to visit a patient here and trash was all over the front entry. As it had been windy the last few days, I didn't blame the facility. Today on my 3rd visit, same trash no wind. Visitation is in the cafeteria which has ceiling tiles coming off, a corner of the room has lifted flooring where it looks to have an ice machine leaking. The attending physician (pronounced Kwee- maybe spelled incorrectly) after assessing my loved one for 2 minutes told him he did not have an Autism spectrum disorder that was diagnosed by a... read more

Staff is friendly. Hospital clean.Food is good. Once your insurance runs out they can care less about you. Which should not be the case. As a patient you should have support once your program is finished.

Business response:

Riverside Center for Behavioral Medicine offers discharge planning to all clients, along with a list of referrals specific to where the client lives. We also offer support groups at the facility as part of our after care program. Should you have any suggestions on improving our services are welcome and should be addressed to our Director of Hospital - Community Relations at lbaker@rcbm.com.
