Very Poor customer service at the front desk. No info on patients, even though THEY HAD JUST CALLED ME FOR PATIENT BACKGROUND, I mean like 15 minutes later i arrived, only to be to told nothing , because i didn't have the patients id #. Patient was a 69 year old man, who was scared when he called to inform me where he had been transfered to on his 5150 hold. Don't go here if you actually need any help. I've been dealing with them for over 4 weeks now and they don't answer the phone and the definitely don't return calls. If you have the displeasure of visiting them in person you will see the grossest structure- stained carpeting , stained furniture - the place is so depressing I don't recommend going there to try and alleviate your depression. my son was taken there on a 5150 hold. they continually threatened that they could keep him longer than the 3 day hold if they wanted to. when attempting to get my son into treatment for alcohol abuse the treatment center wanted his medical records from Pacific Grove before they would accept him. Pacific Grove said I would have to convince my son to travel 90 min each way to sign the release in person - something difficult to do when trying to get them to accept going into treatment in the first place - then they finally ... read more

My daughter was taken here due to emotional issues. Unfortunately, there was no other place to take her. This place makes drug streets look good. The staff were mostly uninformed and were not able to handle most of the patients. The leadership of the clinical services was never around. We later found the leadership is in no way equipped to be in that position. If you happened to catch the leadership, they would yell at you, or just lie to placate you. This hospital reminds me of the movie One Flew Over the Cucoo's Nest. My daughter was recently a patient there for some issues she has been having for the past several months and this place was like a horror chamber. For one thing they had her on 6 or 7 different medications so she was like an emotionless empty shell of who she is because they had her so drugged up. Everything that can go wrong will go wrong. Staff are mean. If you can find one. People are always arguing and fighting between each other. If you're not able to be in prison, don't go here. They show this great picture of a green area outside but you can't even go use it. This place is a joke. And unsafe. For real treatment, go somewhere else.

I am not a patient there but when I phone to speak to a psych nurse the reception area gives you the 3rd degree. I don't want them to know my business they aren't the professionals!! I think this would be breaking some privacy law! If I need help I want to talk to a professional not a receptionis!!

Lipstick on a pig ! It's too bad that the program has gone the way it has , it was working until another buy out and another person in charge took over again ! Basically these guys own 208 hospitals and keep buying them up to line there pockets $$$ Untrained staff and poor facility conditions that require immediate attention and many other issues that amazed that they are not addressed in a timely manner . Hopefully this is one of the ways they will make them address the issues at this facility .

This Facility abuses the trust of it's Patients and their Families. My Mother was kept Doped up, Unfed & Unclean. They lied to us over the phone about 100% of Everything. My Mother was Belittled by the Staff including Medical. The Dr. One time tried convincing her that blood was drawn early (4-5am) one morning when she told him no he searched her bruised arms.
