Mental health facilities in this country should be nowhere near what I experienced, we have the infrastructure and money, and people who struggle deserve to be treated w dignity. I requested a discharge summary a year after my "recovery" there The discharge disclosed multiple psychiatric diagnoses including bipolar, borderline, PTSD, and impulse disorder. I was recently in this hospital around November 16-18. Worst experience I've ever had, scary even. The staff was rude, not much towards me, but towards other patients. They would yell at some of the elderly for no reason, maybe out of annoyance. Very unprofessional. They almost gave me someone else's medications for seizures, which I do not have and I only caught it when I asked to look at what she was giving me only to read it was under someone else's name. Edit: thank you to all who have reached out asking if our brother has been found. Sadly after 9 days of searching for him after they let him go and a missing persons report filed, we got a call from the coroner that he had past in a parking lot the day before Thanksgiving. Our family is devastated and grieving the loss of the precious soul :( If I could give this place a zero star I would!! My experience in the last five weeks has been horrendous. Found out it was indeed Medicare fraud. If I ever get a bill from them, I'll blow the whistle on everyone involved. Including all the therapists and the people who ran each house. I haven't forgot. Run for the boarder, guys.

The hospital itself is horrible, there's absolutely no patient care. The nurses don't know what they are doing and don't care. The only people there that care is housekeeping, they are wonderful. The food is okay

I cannot get through to anyone there to speak with me about a patient there - I went there and they acted as if they couldn't speak to me. Told me to call and make an appt to speak with someone. I've left three messages. Not one call back. It's traumatic enough when your loved one has to be admitted to such a place, but it's even worse when no one will tell you what is going on with them either. These people are unprofessional and greedy. Please keep your dear ones away from this place. In spite of paying $70000 our dear one did not get the help she needed. They experimented by injecting dangerous drugs completely destroying the central nervous system. This is a very dangerous place and they should not be in the hospital business.

The most traumatizing experience I'd had to that point . I was experiencing a reaction to an antibiotic an antibiotic cepro !!! I was Floxed . the doctors didn't recognize what was going on so they proceeded to treat me with benzodiazepines and benzodiazepine and psych. Meds they gave me Akathisia in there . I have been completely disabled from their treatment now for 5 years this was the most horrible place I've ever been in. My Daughter was there for 8 days she had 1 great nurse , and 2 that were ok. Absolutely ZERO communication except your insurance information. You cannot get through for a status update or a return call about your loved one but they will FORSURE call you about being paid. She spoke of abuse and came home with several bruises and even more trauma.
