I was given the wrong medication because my medical records had never been updated from the year prior. (I believe it was my doctor at that time who did not update them so the attending doctor who was at this hospital probably had no idea what to give me. Thanks, Dr. Summerour. I'm certain you had better things to do than updating your medical records, right?) Also, I was detoxing off valium and was not taken off slowly enough, or it was just not addressed properly (or at all) and I "fell out" one night (staff told me my blo... read more

This place is awful. Do not bring your loved ones here. This is a prison for people with good insurance. My child was brought in voluntarily, which then became involuntary. 72 hour hold has turned into a 14 day hold. No one ever returns calls, even though I have consent for information. A doctor that visits with the patient for less than 5 minutes, gets to make a life changing decision. This place doesn't help people, just keeps them locked up. Stay away!

Just discharged after 5 days in voluntary unit. I was there 4 years ago when it was rcbm. Whoever took over management of this treatment facility obviously is only interested in making money not taking care of people in need of help. I had a problem with high blood pressure. I was given a pill and told to get it checked in one hour. I went back after one hour and there was no staff around. Two and a half hours later I got it checked again and still high. I asked why I was ignored and I was told they had a problem intake and ... read more

I'd give this place negative stars if I could, except that only ONLY good thing about our experience with his hospital's outpatient division was intake nurse Michelle. She's a breath of fresh air and is a caring person who wants to help which is exactly what a nurse should be. Now for the the issue.... This place was recommended to us by our insurance in order to help my son overcome an addiction to pain pills stemming from taking them after a surgery. He's tried to quit them on his own, but he can't. The withdrawals a... read more

Very Poor customer service at the front desk. No info on patients, even though THEY HAD JUST CALLED ME FOR PATIENT BACKGROUND, I mean like 15 minutes later i arrived, only to be to told nothing , because i didn't have the patients id #. Patient was a 69 year old man, who was scared when he called to inform me where he had been transfered to on his 5150 hold. Sad to see that this is the level of mental health care in this great country. Patient arrived Sat. Night, but did not recieve ANY CARE till monday afternoon, only to b... read more

Don't go here if you actually need any help. I've been dealing with them for over 4 weeks now and they don't answer the phone and the definitely don't return calls. If you have the displeasure of visiting them in person you will see the grossest structure- stained carpeting , stained furniture - the place is so depressing I don't recommend going there to try and alleviate your depression. It's run by a massive corporate conglomerate that doesn't care. If you try and reach out to the corporate office for help they just trans... read more

my son was taken there on a 5150 hold. they continually threatened that they could keep him longer than the 3 day hold if they wanted to. when attempting to get my son into treatment for alcohol abuse the treatment center wanted his medical records from Pacific Grove before they would accept him. Pacific Grove said I would have to convince my son to travel 90 min each way to sign the release in person - something difficult to do when trying to get them to accept going into treatment in the first place - then they finally ... read more

My daughter was taken here due to emotional issues. Unfortunately, there was no other place to take her. This place makes drug streets look good. The staff were mostly uninformed and were not able to handle most of the patients. The leadership of the clinical services was never around. We later found the leadership is in no way equipped to be in that position. If you happened to catch the leadership, they would yell at you, or just lie to placate you. My daughter spent most of the time being scared she was going to be attack... read more

This hospital reminds me of the movie One Flew Over the Cucoo's Nest. My daughter was recently a patient there for some issues she has been having for the past several months and this place was like a horror chamber. For one thing they had her on 6 or 7 different medications so she was like an emotionless empty shell of who she is because they had her so drugged up. She could hardly recognize her family and could not even walk without assistance. She is only 22 years old and could not even go to the bathroom without help. Se... read more
