Don't send Anyone to this Awful place!! My brother is Mentally Ill. He got off his meds and was starting to hear voices and stand in the streets so I called to get him help. There is nothing in my town so they sent him to Pacific Grove. They never called us. I had his patient code and every time I called they would transfer to nurses station. THEY NEVER ANSWERED! My wife has been there now for a week. I have called to speak to a supervisor, a social worker, a patient advocate, a doctor that is looking after my wife. I have left messages almost daily last week. I have still yet to get a phone call back. The only phone call I have is to pay my wife's insurance bill, twice now in fact. I understand this place is busy, what place isn't? This place should understand that taking care of patients is great, but not letting the family know how they can help, or what is going on isn't. Absolutely disgusting. I would rather be ill for the rest of my life than go back to this facility. From rude personnel with zero bedside manner to lack of professionalism when it comes to the actual treatments . Hands down, awful experience.

My father recently came out of this hospital and came home with some horror stories . Sometimes they would treat him really ugly threatening him keeping him locked inside his little room.. how sad to treat a person who had a heart attack

I have never in my entire life and I'm 69 years old have ever seen any place like this and pray that I never again encounter anything like this again. I was there for about a few hours or less before I got into a verbal and physical confrontation with a very very unqualified female staff worker. Do not know how to help or treat patients. Worse facility and stuff ever. Facility is very rude and dirty.

I spent 7 days there. It was dirty, beds were uncomfortable, and I didn't shower the entire time because the showers looked like a science experiment gone wrong. It's not intended to be Club Med. I got my meds on time, the food was decent, and they had some therapy groups. It was a safe place for me to get my meds balanced. It would not be my first choice, but it definitely does not deserve the one star reviews.

The worst experience!! They kept my suitcase and clothes. Food was unable to identify. With Covid hardly anyone wore masks. Couldn't find any hand sanitizer! On the weekend they run out of Mylanta and didn't care if I hand bad burning heartburn. Wasn't given my toothbrush and toothpaste from my suitcase. It took 3 days to get a tiny Dixie cup with toothpaste and a tiny toothbrush. I never got my clothes nor my belongings. Staff yells at patients and worse ignores patients. My rights were violated. Don't go there!!! Awful.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They're thieves here and couldn't care less about anybody but themselves. My husband was recently in this hospital. He voluntarily went to Kaiser(that in itself was a horrible experience) for a psych evaluation and they put him on a 51/50 hold and transferred him to this facility.
