I don't usually write reviews, but I need to warn you about this place. This is the absolute worst psychiatric hospital. If you can, avoid staying here at all costs if you're seeking help. My friend was admitted here and her experience was traumatizing and horrific. I came here as a visitor, and the experience was like visiting someone at a prison. Visitation is one hour a day, but one time they forgot about us and we had 2 hours of visitation. The nurses in charge of the patients' care are often very hostile and abusive. Th... read more

This is the worst detox psych rehab place ever, maybe one or two nurses knew what they were doing but the rest of the staff had no clue what they were doing, being so unprofessional and giving more meds then people needed, there were seven guys who were so messed up that they couldn't even walk and they were using the phone in the lobby to order drugs This is the worst detox psych rehab place ever, maybe one or two nurses knew what they were doing but the rest of the staff had no clue what they were doing, being so unprofess... read more

i'm hearing a lot of negative reviews about this place but I'm gonna have to disagree with much of it. let's start with some basics, the food there is really good for hospital food( don't expect a 5 star gourmet meal) your at a behavioral health clinic , it's sanitary, they give you snacks through out the day, and there's a TV. As far as the groups go which are also really helpful that range from CBT, DBT, trauma, recreation , art therapy, nutrition and plenty that deal with recovery. Most of the staff there are really ther... read more

I was intaked on a 5150 basis to this hospital early January. The good news was that I could go straight there and didn't have to go to the hospital to be medically discharged. My time there was... a learning experience. There is NO talk therapy available at this facility. If you are looking to talk out your problems, you will find yourself venting to other patients and unqualified nurses who make fun of patients in front of them and behind their backs. I am lucky to have had a few patients look out for me here, but staff wi... read more

Unfortunately, or even a worse word would be used or even the worst word known in any countries dictionary is what I would say when it comes to this God forsaken facility. I recently "Voluntarily" admitted myself for treatment along with my family's support and Regret is just an overstatement for what I had gone through while my stay here. To put my long and treacherous but only 4 day experience in one sentence, its Almost illegal what this organization will do to patients seeking help. Bottom line I would never recommend ev... read more

I'd give this place negitive stars if it was possible. I was held at this place for 72 hours. I can honestly say that this place did not help me but did infact traumatize me. This place is supposed to give people the help that they need but sadly that's not the case. Every staff member there is careless and looks down upon patients. The group meetings don't help, for example: a patient would start talking about a different subject during the group meeting and the person holding the group meeting would do nothing and let them... read more

I was given the wrong medication because my medical records had never been updated from the year prior. (I believe it was my doctor at that time who did not update them so the attending doctor who was at this hospital probably had no idea what to give me. Thanks, Dr. Summerour. I'm certain you had better things to do than updating your medical records, right?) Also, I was detoxing off valium and was not taken off slowly enough, or it was just not addressed properly (or at all) and I "fell out" one night (staff told me my blo... read more

This place is awful. Do not bring your loved ones here. This is a prison for people with good insurance. My child was brought in voluntarily, which then became involuntary. 72 hour hold has turned into a 14 day hold. No one ever returns calls, even though I have consent for information. A doctor that visits with the patient for less than 5 minutes, gets to make a life changing decision. This place doesn't help people, just keeps them locked up. Stay away!

Just discharged after 5 days in voluntary unit. I was there 4 years ago when it was rcbm. Whoever took over management of this treatment facility obviously is only interested in making money not taking care of people in need of help. I had a problem with high blood pressure. I was given a pill and told to get it checked in one hour. I went back after one hour and there was no staff around. Two and a half hours later I got it checked again and still high. I asked why I was ignored and I was told they had a problem intake and ... read more
