Got here when the park opened at 10 AM and a lot of it was closed due to construction waited for over two hours to see the Tigers and the Bears. We were told that they were making sure the enclosure was safe enough to let the tigers out into them. Meanwhile, they had all morning to check the facility prior to the park being opened to make sure that it was suitable for the Tigers and bears to be let out. Needless to say we waited around for 45 minutes to see a tiger and they never let one out the zoo has really gone downhill... read more

Used to be, I could whole heartedly recommend the Palm Beach Zoo and know anyone going there would be having a great time, but it looks like those days are gone. The Zoo appears to be simply wasting away from apathy and ennui, and with the Science Museum around the corner constantly upgrading and beautifying itself, this slow death is even more pronounced. Habitats are overgrown and unclean, cloudy dirty windows hide empty exhibits, animals that were taken off display temporarily seem to have gone on vacation fo... read more

I emailed them and messaged them through Facebook - no one ever responded. Why can't you give zero stars??? Absolutely horrible experience at the zoo today. We went to the carousel (first thing we did)and they told us that my daughter had to pay and my mother can stand next to her. They get onto the carousel and they tell us that my mother has to get off of it. They say it is a state law. Where exactly is the state law because other people were standing on it and the height of a child does not mean that they can do thin... read more

Biggest waste of 2 hours. Animal enclosures are small and dirty, and half of them were empty. Here and there we saw one or two sad lonely animals not doing much.

I came here with my boyfriend and his daughters who we're excited to go to this zoo for their first time. We decided to come to this zoo instead of the Miami zoo since the drive is easier heading north. It was the end of June and it was a very hot day which was expected but they have little to no water fountains and zero misters to cool you off. We literally finished the entire zoo from start to finish in an hour and a half. The tickets were also over priced. The miami zoo tickets are cheaper and it takes you all day to see ... read more

Was expecting too much maybe? This place seems very dirty and run down. Glass enclosures we're covered with bird poop, enclosures covered with dead leaves or palm branches. Not a lot of tanks but the ones there looked dirty . Instead of feeling like someone was helping these animals or species, I left feeling sorry for

For three people we paid more than $80 to get in and other than plentiful birds, which I see often in our neighborhood, the other animals were not in attendance or doing a great job of hiding. It seems as if there have been many physical changes to the zoo, but most have here rather than enhancing the zoo. One tiger was walking around, no Jaguar, no Florida Panther, no alligator except for the white one, which was behind steamed over windows which made it difficult to see. All in all it is not a place I am going back to. I ... read more

Barely saw any animals there. Park is not organized well, not much to see/do. Spent some time at the kids splash pad, which is not safe as well, as older kids running around hitting the smaller ones. Could just go to any splash pad and pay zero. Do not recommend and will not be back.

I found this zoo to be incredibly depressing and run down. It's clear they need an overhaul and also a lesson in how to properly care for the animals and redesign their horrible enclosures. It was pretty obvious the animals we saw were depressed. Terrible, dirty, small enclosures. Give this zoo a miss.
