The zoo itself is a wonderful place, and some of the staff are nice, but not everyone. We didn't get a map coming in, and my party got the distinct impression we weren't welcome, even though it was an event day and we were all well behaved. The discounts mentioned in Google are not volunteered, or declared outdated, so you mustn't depend on any consistent admission rules. (Our party consisted of three family members and a child, and I had to ask if my AAA offered a discount. The exhibits are nice, and we enjoyed the place e... read more

I was the zoo lights last night with my son and granddaughter. I'd like to know who thought it was a good idea to have liquor there??? We ran into several sets of adults more interested in drinking and making it to the next spot they could get another round then paying attention to their children running around disturbing others trying to enjoy the experience. Does a family event really need to have liquor?

This zoo is so unkept. I felt so bad for the bears. Florida is too hot for bears it hurt my heart to see them panting. They should not be in that hot of a climate. The poor panther was in a small space. The koala was in a small room. Very weird. I left very upset.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I am a family annual pass holder for multiple years. This past weekend I brought my family back to the zoo and purchased my family annual pass because we've had so much fun there in the past. Apparently the restaurant is under new management or ownership..... not only did they substantially increase the food prices but they took away the service! I am a Floridian and very much an outdoorsman. But it's nice to be able to sit and be waited on while you continue to socialize with the family. Apparently a ... read more

I was not impressed. This zoo is not worth the $24.95 entrance fee. There was nowhere to park. I had to park across the street at a park and walk really far. The exhibits were small and most were unimpressive. Some of the exhibits were missing animals. I don't think I'll be returning.

Want to waste $50? Take your boyfriend to the zoo where you can look at beautiful plants inside exhibits because there are no animals there. The Palm Beach zoo gets one star. What a mega disappointment this experience was on a Sunday afternoon. To begin with there's not enough parking to accommodate all the people trying to come in. Once we got to the front door we were asked to pay a staggering $24.95 per adult. I certainly enjoyed going to Susan out think I've ever spent more than five or $10 for admission. So for $24.9... read more

I being a Palm Beach county Resident took my family to the Palm Beach County Zoo on Sunday, August 18th It was more like a long and winding walk as opposed to a zoo as many of the exhibits were closed. Not many animals to be found. They advertised shows but none were scheduled even though it was posted with times of shows. For the moneys spent I personally felt taken advantage of. Needless to say, I won't be going back to the Zoo nor will I be recommending it . My family was terribly disappointed.

What a disappointment! We have come here 3 years in a row and always loved it, unfortunately this year it is terrible! Lots of construction and nearly half the animals off exhibit. We saw more construction people than animals.Plus the food court gives the impression only the more expensive restaurant is open. Wouldn't have been so disappointed if they had let us know before we spent 90$ getting in ( 1 child, 1 senior 2 adults). Plus some local promotion means huge crowds of pushy obnoxious people! Ugh, save your money and ti... read more
