It's cute for smaller children but it doesn't really have anything interesting, everything just seems so boring and the animals are so far away from where you stand to see them. I feel like I hardly saw anything
Could use a little paint and open up the attractions. There are a lot of paths to dead ends . I could see a new redesign. This zoo needs capital. And 4 dollars for a 12 oz soda is crazy! This looks like someone took all the money out an ran.
The Palm Beach Zoo is small, but has a surprisingly good representation of animals, from around the world, for its size. Unfortunately, they go through periods where they really let their physical plant, and some of the habitats suffer. Glass enclosed habitats' water is both filthy, and algae-laden. The lagoon, behind their cafe, has a thin film of oil over it. Many of the habitats have been modernized, but spaces, like the bald eagle enclosure, is small, and open air, and they clip the birds' wings to keep them in plac... read more
Beautiful zoo, however I can't give more than 1 star since the Tiger in the exhibit was completely stir crazy and was foaming at the mouth. We felt so sorry for it and it completely ruined our visit. I hope this poor animal is taken care of and hopefully will get a tiger to be with it so it isn't alone. I would attach the video I have if I could. It was pacing for entire time we watched it which was more than 10 minutes, I couldn't bear to watch anymore.
It has the potential to be a really good zoo. It's not large to the point you have to sacrifice seeing any of the animals. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see most of the animals due to renovations and some of them just simply weren't in their habitat on display. We did go midday on a Friday.
We live in Florida. We took our grandchildren to visit the zoo a couple days ago. What a huge disappointment! The tigers were the only saving grace of an otherwise despicable rip-off. Few animals made an appearance, the zoo itself was dirty, uninviting and expensive. We will never be back nor will we recommend it to any of our friends and acquaintances.
It wasn't so bad other than a cost $25 per person. What a disappointment .....there are like no animals out. There were two of us 50 bucks. We were gone in 20 minutes.
DONT COME HERE! Huge waste of money!!! There is birds.. and a bears. A butterfly walk in cage that hasn't been available since before COVID. The animals are conveniently "somewhere else being moved" as far a the signs say.you have to pay $5 or $7 so the carousel I went to the lion safari zoo in loxahatchee not to far from there. It was amazing all the rides in there ARE FREE! So many animals FEEDING GIRAFFES!!! WATERPARK FREE! PETTING ZOO! FREE (animal food cost) there is a drive thru zoo with wild rinos. It's $25 for adult ... read more
HORRIBLE experience. I don't even know what was worse, the amount to paid to literally see animals in filth or the zoo itself falling apart. By far a waste of a 2 hour drive to just leave in disappointed less than 30 minutes later. To all the locals/tourist - save your money. Trust me the drive to Zoo Miami is worth it and more. See for yourself :) Insane that I have to give it one star in order to post.
