Horrible decision. Regret ever bit of it. Customer service sucks. Going on a month with no solar production. Was basically told I have to contact Solar Edge. I didn’t buy my inverter from solar edge. You did. Not my problem you use shitty products. I was told my electric bill would be $16. Has not happened yet. Steer clear of this company. Nothing but pure trash. Palmetto was the recommended installer by the sales co., Victory Power. I was told they were a large company, experienced in solar installation and service after installation. This turned out to be farthest from the truth. Palmetto FORGOT to send payment for the permits. I was even contacted by the local inspector about this and told he was unable to contact them about this. I had the sales rep. finely contact them. Me and my daughter took advantage of the service last year, yesterday they did my installation and everything is going well so far, but my daughter had problems with the installers that the solar service contracted, she spent more than 6 hours without doing anything on the roof and they were trying to make a design change with the company because they spent less work in the end, my daughter did not authorize the change and neither did the company because they left without doing anything, we have also been requesting the engi... read more

As per contract, 10KW inverter was supposed to be installed however Palmetto installed 6KW inverter without informing me. I noticed that it was 6KW system when there was 5-6 hours of clipping after a month. It's been 6 weeks since I reported it to Palmetto and there was no action taken since then. Even after multiple follow ups, all I get from the support team is - 'Our team is reviewing your request and will provide an update'. Really frustrated and discussing with a lawyer to proceed legally.

I had issues with my solar since April of 2021. they sent Sun systems to repair my issues. Sun systems didn't finish promising to come back. Palmento opened new tickets and generated new invoices more money. Never sending detailed invoices and the people on their help line always say they have no knowledge of the issues, management are not available and will get back to me. It went bad from the day before install date. A truck showed up to drop off the materials to install on roof. I wasn't told of the delivery to arrive the day before. I didn't have time to move my car out of the way. Next morning I parked both cars down the street anticipating a team to show up for install. Cars were parked down the street until 5pm when I put them back in the driveway. 5:30pm two guys show up saying they were here to install solar panels. Palmetto refused to fill out a simple document for me to refinance my home. I lost thousands of dollars already. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

I will definitely be recommending Palmetto: NO NO NO I'd like to change my 5 stars to 1 star. They knew my situation regarding getting the solar panel credit and they said you will get it anyways. However, I did my taxes this year and my accountant explained to me that I am NOT qualified, Palmetto team lied to me saying I will get the credit, palmetto explained wrong.
