I would say better communication throughout the process is an absolute must. This is one of the biggest, if not the largest purchases that someone will make in their life and it‚Äôs already so confusing. Just giving a weekly update and checking in every few days is appreciated and needed.

Poor communication. Starting from the night I was told we would receive our Preapproval Letter. We didn't recieve the letter and the next day we didn't get any follow-up until our agent reached out to request status. Throughout the process, calls were not immediately returned with some calls taking up to two days to get a response. When trying to connected my insurance agent with our Mortgage Coach, even that took a few days to get a response and my insurance agent had to call me.

I had to resubmit documents multiple times because they were lost or not filed correctly.

Everything was great until the day of closing. Our closing day was just short of a nightmare. Underwriters changed last minute, day of closing to be exact. From there it was a miserable experience. The lack of preparedness and communication on your company‚Äôs behalf was absolutely ridiculous. It truly ruined the experience. Due to the underwriters incompetence we missed our closing time and ended up having to pay the law office more money for the time wasted.

During the process I was shifted to two different people which was a little disconcerting. The communication during the process was good until the final week. There were unclear instructions, unanswered emails and phone calls. The final result was missing our closing and having to stay in a hotel over the weekend which cost money, plus more kennel time for pets. I was not thrilled with the end result or the rate that I was locked in at. Overall not a good experience.

There was a sudden drop off in communication during the last 2 weeks of my loan process. There were several times when I had to chase down my contact to get an update on the status only to find out they needed more information from me. This even happened at 2pm the day before my closing for copies of my EMD and DD checks. First, someone should have reached out to me asking for those instead of me chasing them down but also, that‚Äôs a pretty standard request which should have been made muchearlier

Your deal was better than what was offered by a competitor - you got the business BUT. your underwriter kept asking for more and more info, I spent hours and hours, the competitor had me fax last year's income tax return which had a lot more financial information than your underwriter never saw. I had to wait 'til the day before closing to know what I had to pay. Your people are nice and maybe the competitor would also have left me in the dark as closing approached.

Not of fan of the online process and frequent emails requesting more and more information, even after it was already submitted, I am still receiving e mails from Dash after closing requesting information for my loan. I really liked Amy who helped me a lot and was very quick to respond when I had questions. The process is good for computer savvy people, which I am not.

Not against Paul, But I will never use Dash or Refer them again. 2 weeks and all payoffs still not funded, so getting hit 2x and awaiting refunds or having to call and get late fees waived, 1 was short paid so still have almost a $1000.00 balance. Not a good experience at all especially when I specifically requested a certain individual handle my account and it got passed off to a much lesser experienced individual. Whole process has cost me a bunch of out of pocket expenses and loss of work
