At first I was iffy because I thought that since there were so many providers in the office that it would not be personal and more like a revolving door. But actually it has been a great experience. I've been taking my son to see Dr. Tameka Maxwell since he was born & he is about to turn one. Dr. Maxwell makes you feel like family & my son loves her. The staff is also great. My daughters regular doctors are Tellechea or Maxwell. They are both very empathetic and give great advice, which is exactly what a first time mom needs! Only good experiences and not too long of a wait tme.
I have a mixed review. Negative towards Dr. AMARILYS MURILLO, she iis one of those doctors that thinks she is above everyone else (maybe due to the fact she had her training at Jackson), especially above her clients. We went in for an allergic reaction that our infant had, and Dr. Murillo barely looked at her and did everything possible to get us out quickly and even rolled her eyes before leaving the room, as if we had inconvenienced her. My son has been a patient of Dr. Tellechea since birth. I used to live in West Kendall and would drive to the Miami Lakes office just for Dr. T. He's kind, gentle, and amazing with his patients. I have never waited longer than 10 min in the waiting area on any day. I highly recommend this practice to everyone!

Pediatric Associates has been our lifeline. We have a set of twin 4 1/2 year olds and joined the pediatric associates family in Miami Lakes a year ago. This was the best decision ever. Dr. Tamika Maxwell is loving and caring along with the rest of the doctors and staff at the practice. Anyone looking for a warm Disney feel environment this is the place. I have been taking my 3.5 year old there since birth, and they have always been great. His regular doctor is Dr. Tellechea who is empathetic, will listen, and most of all is no nonsense, meaning he is not one of those doctors who will make you paranoid over anything. This place is the best thing to ever happen to parents. Especially when you are a new parent. I heard about PA from a friend. I called them when I was preggo with my son. They told me that I could come in and meet my doctor before my son was even born. I took them up on the offer. I went for my visit and fell in love with the place. I learned about PA after a few bad experieces with my daughters previous doctor, PA has gone beyond my expectations. They are reliable. I have yet to encounter someone staffed there who is nothing but nice. 1. No appointment necessary 2. Since they have a few doctors working at one time, they are quick. 3. Friendly with the kids 4.
