Excellent care mainly. Mum still has concerns about her night care, whereby mum feels as if she is being a nuisance if she rings. On another note, mum had a bandaged visit last week and despite asking 3 different people nobody could tell me what actually happened. I understand that a carer caught her with her ring.
My mother came in for respite but was welcomed and treated as a valued resident. The staff from receptionist to nurses to management all came to greet her and immediately made her feel at home. The staff appear to have permanent smiles and have a pleasant demeanour at all times (are you sure they are not A1!) My mother has a smile on her face and is extremely happy here at Baycroft. I would particularly like to thank the general manager for making the choice of Baycroft easy.

Since my mum has joined the residents at Baycroft Grays, she has been cared for by the wonderful staff and carers at the home who have welcomed her and made her feel part of the family. As you will appreciate, this was a difficult decision for both my mother and her family, as it meant her leaving the house she has called home for many years. Unfortunately, you still hear stories in the news of poor care in some homes, but thankfully this cannot be said of Baycroft. My mother is always made to feel special and the welcome we receive as a family is always warm and professional. We have witnessed many examples of compassionate care, the recent Christmas Party is just one of those.

My husband was resident in Baycroft for two weeks respite care during his stay he was comfortable and happy. The standard of care given was of a high standard and all staff were kind, caring and helpful and courteous at all times. All family and friends were made welcome. I would be happy and use Baycroft again and would have no hesitation in recommending the care home to other would be users.

Mum had respite for six weeks following an accident and she had the best care in Baycroft. Staff were excellent in all care requirements. She could not have been better looked after.
