Wonderful place! My puppy has been coming here for doggie daycare group play for over 6 months. When I drive up she gets extremely excited and almost drags me in to the place. I work at home now but still take her there several times a month because she enjoys it so much.
Great care for animals and excellent staff. Pricing is a bit high and getting higher all the time.
My German shepherd loves it there. There are few places I can bring my GSD August; he's not a good candidate for dog daycare, as he gets overwhelmed and over-stimulated in crowded group play. He also has come back twice from other places (I won't name which) very sick, at one point getting pneumonia. Pender allows him his own kennel with walks, and he gets to see/interact with other dogs playfully through a fence, where all can remain safe. Friendly staff. Best place ever! I only trust my puppy Ozzy with them! They go out of their way for us! Excellent staff who know Ozzy and treat him extra special. Thank you to the staff. They are all amazing! Excellent facility! World class.
They did an awesome job taking care of my cat. The place was very clean and staff helpful and considerate. Price was pleasant surprise. I would recommend Pender to anyone.
Pender is a great boarding place for our dog. We can travel without worries, knowing our dog is well cared and safe. We also use Pender for veterinarian services for our dog.
Very pleased with Pender Pet Retreat for Bath, Grooming, and Removing Matted fur for a Rescued 7-8 mo. old St. Bernard Dog we recently Adopted. Groomer did a great job.
My German Shepherd has boarded here several times and is always happy and healthy when I pick her up and always happy to return. The facility is spotless and the staff is extremely nice, professional, and caring. I enjoy watching my dog on her webcam and she is always relaxed and content. I especially appreciate the twice-daily 30 minute play sessions with a handler, in addition to 3 walks.
Pender Pet Retreat has been wonderful for long term stays and daycare. A day after our dog had surgery, they didn't hesitate to let him participate in the individual daycare. They made sure he had a quiet place to rest during the day while he recovered and was still on medications. They were so patient with our dog (he tends to get nervous around new people) and understanding of our situation. We've also had great experiences in the past using their kennel services for long term stays.
