From the beginning of the process, everyone involved was very informative and courteous. Even when I'm sure my questions where a little crazy, they took the time to make sure the process was going smoothly for me. Very good team of people I was able to work with.
Overall I have had great experiences with pennymac. It took much longer than expected start to finish, but overall everything worked out great. I am sure the pandemic makes things much more difficult and I attribute this to the time it took start to finish.
My experience was great with everyone at PennyMac
Better communication. The closer was sent to Ohio instead of SC. The closing stalled several times and was never explained. The cost of the loan was not explained and I was told don’t worry it won’t be close to what is on paper.

Larry was lacking the expertise required for the process
A more timely closing. I feel like i had to call every week to push loan along. It was a simple streamline refi that required very little documentation and still took 56 days to complete.
I really enjoyed the loan officers keeping me informed of the process and following up with emails until I closed.
