After about 8 calls and/or emails to my "team" that was to take care of me...with no response...I had to call corporate headquarters and make a complaint. Only then did I get a call back and my loan straightened out... even then, the loan did not close when they said it would....I tried about 8 more times to get in touch with my "team"... no response! What I did get was an email from penny mac saying: "we see you have been trying to reach us." Said they would call w/in 24 hours....NOPE!!

I have been working with PennyMacUSA for several years. Always a great experience. Because of the great rates during the Pandemic the total loan process was a lot longer than I expected. The process of refinancing my loan was about as painless as possible. I was readily able to communicate with the loan officers, they in turn were very good about making clear what was needed, the ability to upload documents to an online portal was convenient and easy to use, and there were no unexpected glitches. I can definitely recommend PennyMac and this team!
Even though the communication was slow at times, everyone was polite and as helpful as possible. I understand they are working remotely and That can be difficult.

The process was simple and easy. The team communicated with me on a regular basis and replied to my requests in a timely manner.
Rachel was fantastic, She answered all my questions and concerns and kept me informed during the loan process all the way to closing the loan.
Better communication. I realize that when we were getting this refinance done it was busy, but I had to be the one to reach out several times to get information. It would have been better to get some weekly updates that at least said we have all the materials and are processing your application and loan as fast as we can.
