Everything was proceeding ok until the closing, although taking almost 4 months to get to the closing seemed very slow Closing documents stated that we would receive $1900 back. Closing was scheduled for Friday 12–4 at 9:00 a.m. Closing agent never showed After reaching out to Service Link closing was rescheduled for 5:30 that day Once again closing agent did not show Contacted closing agent who stated that she never received the closing documents no space left we lost $900
Brent was fantastic from start to finish. He called and checked in quite a bit to let us know everything was progressing. It did take quite a bit longer than I anticipated, but Brent informed me that refinance applications were coming in faster than anyone could process. The only other thing that I missed somehow in communication was that I asked for $10,000 cash out, but I only received $8800 and change. My misunderstanding - no fault of Brent's. :) I am glad that I chose to stay with Pennymac!

My closing cost estimate was not even close to how much I paid. The cost was double and I had no communication from you about it. I did not find out until the Notary told me the night before closing. AND no one bothered to tell me I needed to have a cashiers check for the closing. I had to make an emergency trip to the bank the morning of my closing. Communication was definitely lacking. Everyone I dealt with was very nice.
Closing documents were not explained in detail. Loan officer never reach out in a timely manner. I am not referring to Richard Kinsey. Loan process was terrible and unprofessional. Oh well!
