Edna was great at communicating with us
There’s was a paperwork issue and I called Peter a few times about. He was phenomenal and very patient with me! He understood my concerns and went above and beyond to fix issues. Fast service! Amazing customer service!
It took longer than I expected. Sometimes it was hard to talk to someone
Chris did a fantastic job and was always there to answer my questions. If he wasn't immediately available, I always received a prompt return phone call with an unnecessary apology to start, but he always got right to work to address my question. The refinancing process went extremely smooth with absolutely no bumps in the road. It was completed well before the expected closing date and every PennyMac employee/contractor did a fantastic job along way. All around great experience!

Respond to questions in a timely manner. Phone calls should be returned within one day, two at the latest if nothing more than to say I received your message and I am working on it.
My original mortgage loan was with penny mac. I spent months trying to get in contact with someone about a streamline re-finance. I received zero follow-up after multiple voicemails and e-mail inquires I finally got in touch with someone who wanted to help me. I cant stress enough how frustrating this was. When the process finally got started I think it went pretty well, Barbara Fernandez was very professional and did a great job.
