Even though the process took longer than expected refinancing my home was managed well. Constant communication helped ease my concerns throughout the entire process.
The entire process was very easy. Each representative was thorough and patient. Drew stayed in constant communication with me to make sure I knew what was going to happen next. My questions were answered quickly. If/when I purchase another property I will use PennyMac's services again.

Great service from Rick de Carlo and Drew Schmelig! Everything was smooth except the first closing, when the notary did not show up. The MacTeam got everything straightened out and we had a different notary assigned within a few days. The new notary was exceptionally professional, and everything went smoothly from there.
The most clearly communicated financing or refinancing that I have ever experienced and I have been through about 15 of these things. You guys have set the standard on how a financing is executed and communicated. Thanks to Jesse and the whole team!
Bien was not only knowledgeable and professional but courteous and friendly. She knew exactly where I was in the process and kept me informed and current on all phases. She is an asset to PennyMac that is hard to come by in these dramatic times. I would surely want her again. She is a gem.
We started the process in mid June and did not close until October 29th and still have not received checks to pay off targeted debt? I was told this would probably be done by the end of august. Nope not even close and you guys have my mortgage prior to refi which I thought would speed up the process. Nope but I’m sure you will just blame COVID 19. Almost five months for a refi cash out ?????
Was very pleasant working with PennyMac, they found an issue that I wasn't aware of from the prior company I worked with and fixed it.
everytime i called my call was returned, same day. customer service was excellent.
