The process for my refinance went quite smoothly. I already have my mortgage with Penny Mac so perhaps it was not as complicated as some, but everyone whom I communicate with were pleasant and knowledgeable. You all were proactive and requested documents in time for me to meet your deadlines. Julia whom initiated my request gave me comfort that staying with Penny Mac was the right thing to do, she answered all of my questions and explained next steps. Great job all.
Closing disclosure was messed up. Glad I caught it. Wasted time in bringing over a notary. Happy with the overall deal, and attentiveness of both Xavier and Michael Johnson.
Everything went according to Plan. The only thing that was of concern was that numbers were not adjusted after our automatic October Payment was made. I hope that my previous mortgage company will make the appropriate adjustments and refund the appropriate amounts.
Overall my experience with PennyMac was great, from the first call and through the entire process. Great support from the team.

Overall experience was good. It just took a long time to get the closing disclosure done properly. It took time to understand the disclosure statement. It’s always better to book time with the customer and go through the closing disclosure in detail. So that we request the right amount of loan proceedings
The only issue that occurred was that I wasn't told that i would need a witness present for closing since I was in another State. I was however to get someone at the last minute after the closer arrived. I don't think that it was the Loan Processors fault. The Attorney said that he should have called prior to close.
