Communication was lackluster at best and downright frustrating most of the time. Requests for financial documents were vague, and when we called for clarification, we received generic answers that didn't clarify what was actually being requested. Phone conversations made us feel like a burden, and our support constantly tried to get off the phone with us as quickly as possible. This was my third mortgage with PennyMac - it's likely my last.

Closing documents were not correct on the day of closing, resulting in having to reschedule closing.

Gina overall did a good job. She explained and responded to queries. Wish query responses were say tiny bit sooner but it could be reflective of load on the system. This is the pennymac's issue than Gina's problem because of too much load. Will do business with her again as she was polite, took time to work with me and answered my queries. Pennymac as a co should add more resources to make over all duration taken a bit shorter. Overall whole process could have been about 7 to 14 days shorte

Communication during the process was minimal. Emails went unanswered, the same documents were requested multiple times after they were submitted, and I did not receive any communication about closing documents. The only individual who contacted me about closing was the notary. The process took far longer than I anticipated and was given no indication as to why.
