Working with Penny Mac has been great. Fast , friendly and efficient.
Juan was awesome! The process of working with him was great! Juan's support that he was leaning on, specifically the Appraisal team, was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! They were supposed to call. Still no call! They were supposed to help, still waiting. Their lack of follow-up, communication, and performing their duties poorly, cost me money! Thanks to Juan... the rest needs to be reviewed and those issues need to be addressed. I could use a phone call, but I am not holding my breath.
Juan is a nice person but the communication was lacking. Often times it would be very unclear what the next step in the process was. I would call and not receive information back promptly. I understand it is a very busy time due to the interest rate environment currently but as you're aware there are time sensitive deadlines. The process would not be explained clearly and concisely. Oftentimes, I would get a back story when I just needed to efficiently be informed the facts.
The only problem arose on the signing date when the notary arrived. The paperwork stated one figure we owed and we were told over the phone a different figure. We still have not heard back which figure is correct.
