PennyMac is very busy but when you call them or email them you will receive a message back or call back by the next day. If you call early enough you can get a call back the same day. It has been a pleasure working with them for a year-and-a-half.

After being assigned my previius loan officer, I had serious doubts the loan would go smoothly, or even go through at all. I felt i had lost some sort of lottery for incompetent loan officers. Then Sarah was assigned to my loan and everything when along smoothly, and efficiently

A different person was always contacting me. Never follow through with contacting me when they said they would. Supposed to get overnight check and its been 3 days now and nothing.
Andrew as very helpful, the rest of the m.a.c. team not so much. I received one phone call from a member of the team who said he would check in with me once a week. I only received one call. There was a problem with the documents. Silly me, since I was refinancing a loan I had with PennyMac, I thought that all the personal information was in my file. No one on the processing team had taken responsibility to look at it, so the closing was delayed a week Andrew was great! Always responded to call
Okay so we were originally planning on refinancing through another company and it was a horrible headache (the closing dates kept moving back, they kept losing documents, the communication was horrible) so I reached out to PennyMac and it was an entirely different experience! The communication was Amazing, Paula called us weekly to let us know where we were at in the process. Closing went off without a hitch (almost a month sooner than we were originally anticipating) we were very happy!
