Patrick did a wonderful job and worked very hard for me. The overall experience was not good at all. We had lengthy wait times to close and then the closing estimates were wrong and did not include to original agreements we had made. It was an extremely frustrating process and If I had the choice would not likely do it again. I think there needs to be better and open communication between the different groups in your agency so things translate smoothly from start to finish better.
Working with Jason and Richard were great and although a couple little hiccups, Richard was on top of the situation always. Easiest Refi we ever did.
I am really impressed with the way the transition went. I really appreciate how PennyMac and their associates handled the situation 👏. From the application through underwriting and closing, PennyMac exceeded expectations. My refi closed quickly and the process was simple. John Wilbanks and Nick Hagan were both great to work with. I would certainly recommend PennyMac to anyone.
From start to finish we had great service. We did a refinance and closed pretty quickly.
The orginal person I was working with, I believe his name was Tom, was excellent and incredibly responsive. Once I was passed on to the MyMac Team I started to have difficulty getting responses and at closing my last statement showed me getting approximately $13 back. At closing we were surprised to find out we owed $131.31 and we didn't have our checkbook with us. This was a bit inconvenient and frustrating. Again, Tom was excellent and I would happily do business with him again.
Better communication since it was done all online. Emails were never answered promptly, and when I called to ask questions because of the delayed emails, it would always go to voice-mail. I thought since I already had my past mortgage with pennymac would go seamless, but it ended with struggles, and always worried where in the loan process I was at. Would recommend to friends and family, but also would warn them of the troubles I had.
