The refinance went fine, though it closed a few days later than initially planned which delayed my other closing. Otherwise it was pretty smooth and Blen was great and so was Donald. I tried to make several calls to do a second home purchase with PennyMac but could not get through or a return call. When I finally got a call back it was 11 days later and i was already working with another company. These are separate departments but i can't imagine that I am the only missed opportunity for

Getting more timely responses, better communication. The time it took to get a reply was too long and often my questions or concerns were not answered

The refinancing loan process and it was great but the only issue was I clearly said I’m deaf person and preferred to do email instead of phone calls. It will call the interpreter my company and they connect with us to translate conversation between us. It took three weeks to finally set up a closing date while all of the documents are done. Only because I couldn’t answer the phone as quick as they expected me to. I have to contact the original number guy to tell my max team to email me.

It was relatively quick and painless from start to finish. Help was given when asked for. Replies were prompt.

Why not Digital Signatures and 'Zoom', it can be more secure

Process was easy and secure. Would have been nice to have the same person all the way through the process from inquiry to closing but each person introduced the next person and explained their role in the next step of the process. Emails and calls (often voice mails) were helpful with follow up communication.
